Added Inscriptions

Composing the correct wording to follow on from an existing inscription can be a daunting task, but we can help you. Our experienced staff will advise on suitable wording. Our time served craftsmen will carry out the added inscription on site in the cemetery.

We will try to match the original inscription as closely as possible, but individual lettering especially in hand cut lettering mean that sometimes there may be a slight variation.

Having your memorial professionally cleaned can make old memorials look like new again. Our fully trained workforce carefully cleans your memorial using the appropriate cleaning materials suitable for your type of memorial.

Usually after cleaning you will find that the lettering is in need of re-gilding or re-painting. We can quote for that at the same time as the cleaning is carried out.

Layer subsidence, poor foundations or vandalism can all result in your memorial being unstable or leaning at an angle. Often burial authorities because of safety constraints lay down memorials if they find them loose which offers a safe environment for visitors.

We can re erect your memorial and ensure it is safe by securing to a new foundation using NAMM approved anchor systems, which gives you peace of mind that your memorial will remain standing in the future.

If you are unhappy with the inscription or graphics on your memorial then we can re-polish the face of your headstone and start again. We supply detailed drawings of the proposed inscription to enable you to see the finished headstone.
