| Sometimes referred to as a grass marker it is a memorial that is placed into the ground. This leaves the face of the memorial flush with the ground. Many cemeteries require this style of memorial for ease of ground care. |

| The face has a slight bevel to it and is placed above ground on a foundation. The dimensions of a bevel vary but our standard is 6' to 8" above ground. They could be as large as 12". The sides on a bevel are what we call a rock pitch. |
