Return to homepageWe're always happy to answer any question, however small. But these are the things families most often ask us first.
Timescales vary depending on the complexity of the design and materials chosen. As a guide, most memorials are completed and installed within 16–20 weeks of design approval. This can be as short as 8-12 weeks depending on stones, choices and other factors. Cemeteries often require a period of settlement after burial before a memorial can be installed — we'll advise you on this from the outset and keep you update should you choose to proceed..
Not at all. Many families complete the entire process by phone and email, particularly those who live at a distance. We'll send you drawings and samples digitally and keep you fully informed at every stage. Of course, you're always welcome to visit our workshop if you'd prefer.
Costs vary considerably depending on the stone, size, shape, and complexity of carving or inscription. We will always give you a clear written quotation before any work begins. We're happy to work with you to find something that feels right within any budget — please don't hesitate to mention any constraints when you call.
Yes, this is something we do regularly. We study the original lettering style carefully and match it as closely as possible, ensuring the memorial remains visually cohesive even when additions are made many years later.
Yes, entirely. We handle all permissions, foundation inspections, and installation logistics directly with the cemetery or burial authority. The paperwork and bureaucracy is our responsibility, not yours.
Unfortunately not, however many families find this a meaningful and important occasion. For health and safety and legal reasons, members of the public must keep a distance. We always let loved ones know by phone, as soon as we have finished positioning a memorial, to allow visit immediately afterwards.
